The Mexican Organizing Committee will offer to delegates and companions the following Cultural Program from 08 to 11 November:

Saturday, November 08  

TURIBUS AT NIGHT: MODERN MEXICO

Dress code:    Casual clothing and we recommended to take along sweater or light jacket.

Description:    Night tour by Turibus for the areas of Reforma, Polanco, Condesa and Roma.

Sunday, November 09  

MAGNIFICENCE AND BEAUTY: HISTORICAL BUILDINGS OF MEXICO CITY

Duration:   4 hours and 30 minutes (return to Down Town hotel)

Dress code:   Casual clothing and comfortable shoes without heels.

Participates:   All Congress participants.

Description:   Guided walking tour along the main roads, buildings and museums of the Historical Center of the City, guided by experts in history and culture of the country. Finishing the tour a cocktail on the terrace of the Down Town hotel* is enjoyed.
*After cocktail recommend the following restaurants for lunch: 
     - La Ópera located on the street of 5 de Mayo # 10 
     - Café Tacuba located on Calle Tacuba # 28 
     - Café del Palacio located at the lobby of the Palacio de Bellas Artes

Description:   Guided tour into the archaeological site of Teotihuacan (“the city of the Aztec Gods”) designated world heritage by UNESCO. Teotihuacan is considered one of the most important archaeological sites of Mesoamerica. After the visit at the archaeological zone a buffet meal is offered at a typical local restaurant called "La Gruta". 
     
ANNUAL DINNER HOSTED BY THE MEXICAN ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

Description:   A great opportunity to experience Mexico, the Annual Dinner will take place at the former “Convento de las Vizcaínas”, a baroque building of the XVIII century at the Historical District. Today the Convent became the seat for the “San Ignacio de Loyola” school, the only colonial institution that has been open continuously up to our days in Mexico.

VISIT TO “DOLORES OLMEDO” MUSEUM

Description:    Exposure within the Museo Dolores Olmedo, located in the southern part of the city, where is the largest collection of paintings by Frida Kahlo and her husband Diego Rivera. After the exhibition of the Museum a meal will be provided at the restaurant San Angel Inn, located inside a seventeenth century ex-hacienda consists of a variety of Mexican food.
